When the mother pointed out that her daughter was the darkest in the room, she really was pointing out the dissatisfaction she has with herself. I can't really say what is going on with her but to say that to your daughter who self esteem is very fragile is cruel. It shows that she has a negative perception of darker skin people and with herself. She has to turn that around. This will start a cycle that will start with the little girl trying to find approval with peers and boys who may not value her as the beautiful girl that she is. The mother must find love for herself first before she can show her children how to love themselves.Caminoreply@blogger.com
